‘Please — be the one to bring her home’: Savannah Guthrie pleads in new Instagram post

“Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie on Friday shared a link to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) tip line as the search continues for her 84-year-old missing mother, Nancy Guthrie.

She posted the information on Instagram, with the post featuring a segment from the “Today” show in which her colleagues told viewers how the tip line works.

“Please — be the one that brings her home,” Savannah Guthrie wrote in the post. “Tips can be anonymous, reward can be paid in cash, as explained here.”

She also urged anyone who has information about where her mother is to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).

“NOTE: Family reward of up to $1 million will be paid only for recovery of Nancy Guthrie, consistent with FBI criteria for payment of its reward in this case,” she added.

Earlier in the week, authorities announced that the Guthrie family is offering a private $1 million reward for credible information that directly leads to her return.

FBI Phoenix warned that anyone who calls the tip line might experience delays when submitting information due to high call volume.

“The FBI’s $100,000 reward also remains active,” FBI Phoenix wrote on X. “To help keep the tip line available for actionable investigative law enforcement leads, please submit only serious and detailed fact-based information – no well-wishes or case theories. The tip line is not for personal messages to the Guthrie family.”

Citing an unnamed federal source, NBC News said authorities are processing between 5,000 to 10,000 hours of video amid the investigation. The report noted that every video “must be watched in real time” by an investigator.

According to Fox News Digital, a person who lives in Nancy Guthrie’s neighborhood has a Ring camera that captured 12 cars driving by during the morning authorities believe she was abducted.

The media outlet noted that the recordings happened between midnight and 6 a.m. on February 1, “with one some activity happening around 2:30 a.m., which is around the time when authorities said that Guthrie’s pacemaker device was last synced with her iPhone.”

Fox News also reported that a 34-year-old man was arrested on DUI charges outside Nancy Guthrie’s home on Thursday night, noting that the arrest is not related to the Guthrie investigation.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her home just outside Tucson, Arizona, on January 31 and was reported missing the next day. Authorities believe she was kidnapped, and the FBI released surveillance videos of a masked man who was outside Guthrie’s front door on the night she vanished.

Drops of her blood were found on the front porch, but authorities haven’t publicly revealed much evidence. Since the first days of her disappearance, authorities have expressed concern about Nancy Guthrie’s health because she needs vital daily medicine.

She may already be gone,” Savannah Guthrie said in a previous Instagram post. “She may already have gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven.”
