Two fire engines have been spotted entering the Sandringham estate close to where Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is believed to be holed up at Wood Farm following his arrest. At 12.25pm one drove up the lane past Wolferton Church with its siren on briefly. Another response vehicle was behind it. A second fire engine arrived shortly afterwards.
Both fire engines left after several minutes in a convoy with the fire response vehicle. It appeared to be some sort of false alarm. The first engine had blue lights flashing. One witness said: “There were no police or security around. The fire engine just suddenly arrives. They all went in and came out perhaps five or six minutes later. No-one had any idea of what was going on.”
