When Katie Price appeared at a store launch in Hertfordshire earlier this month, fans were left stunned.
The 47-year-old star looked painfully thin in brown lace leggings and a bomber jacket, and onlookers claimed she needed help climbing the stairs. The images spread quickly — and with them came a wave of worry.
But now, her son Junior Andre has stepped in to set the record straight.“We Are The Best We’ve Ever Been”
Speaking honestly about his mum’s health, the 20-year-old insisted the family is stronger than ever as they head into Christmas.
“People don’t know her like we know her,” Junior said. “She is doing great, she’s so loving, and we love her so much. I’m round her house all the time. What happens behind closed doors is very different to what people think.”
He added:
“Honestly, I’m in the best place with my family that I’ve ever been.”
It’s a powerful statement from a son who has grown up in the spotlight — and one that comes after months of speculation surrounding Katie’s appearance.
Katie’s Own Health Scare
Earlier this year, Katie admitted she had been hospitalised after a ‘dramatic’ drop in weight. She later told followers that doctors were running blood tests to find out why she kept losing pounds.
“I keep losing weight and I don’t know why,” she said. “They had to try three times to get my blood because my veins are so bad.”
In September, she also revealed she is quitting vaping, sharing X-ray images of lungs and warning followers that the habit can lead to serious lung disease.
The topic is deeply emotional for Katie, whose mother Amy was diagnosed with terminal lung disease in 2017.
A Christmas Held Together By Family
Despite the fears, Junior is focused on what really matters: family.
This Christmas Eve he’ll be with his dad, singer Peter Andre, before heading to see Katie on Christmas Day. He’ll also be reunited with siblings Harvey, Princess, Jett and Bunny.
“My mum has everything, so she’s hard to buy for,” Junior smiled. “But it’s the thought that matters. We just do family, food, music and presents — with the fireplace on and matching PJs.”
For a family that has lived much of its life under scrutiny, Junior’s words offer a rare glimpse behind the headlines — and a reminder that sometimes, the strongest truths are the ones told quietly at home.
