‘DON’T DO THAT!’ — Michael Strahan SNAPS as Terry Bradshaw’s Bizarre On-Air Antics Push Him to the Edge

Michael Strahan reached breaking point with Terry Bradshaw – ‘Don’t do that’

Michael Strahan grew fed up with Terry Bradshaw's singing on 'FOX NFL Sunday'

Michael Strahan appeared to reach his breaking point with “FOX NFL Sunday” colleague Terry Bradshaw’s theatrical behavior last year.

This season, Strahan and Bradshaw will once again join forces on the hit studio show alongside full-time analysts Howie Long and Rob Gronkowski, who’s taking over Jimmy Johnson’s role. While sharing the FOX desk since 2008, Strahan and Bradshaw haven’t always gotten along. Last October, the duo hilariously butted heads while weighing in on various NFL storylines unfolding across the league.

Following the Detroit Lions’ 47-9 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6, Strahan kicked off the discussion by acknowledging star pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson’s stellar performance, calling him “one of the biggest difference-makers” in the league. It comes after Bradshaw’s bizarre warning left FOX colleagues ‘bemused’.

“After the bye week, [Hutchinson is] still leading the league in sacks with six-and-a-half. And the [quarterback] pressures,” Strahan said. However, the 53-year-old was quickly cut off by Bradshaw, who interjected: “I did the song already. Pressure!”

Earlier during the program, Bradshaw had strangely burst into Queen’s hit “Under Pressure” while critiquing the New England Patriots’ choice to sideline veteran signal-caller Jacoby Brissett for Drake Maye.

“It’s a terrible move,” he began. “Brissett was doing everything he could to keep that thing going. That’s a horrible offensive line. The one key word there is pressure.

“Freddie Mercury of Queen, remember the song? Pressure! Coming down, you remember the song? Drake Maye will be under pressure. This is a bad move.”

Bradshaw’s singing performance didn’t seem to impress his colleagues. When the former quarterback threatened to sing again, Strahan pleaded with him to refrain.

“Please don’t do that. Please don’t do that again,” Strahan advised Bradshaw. “You might get sued for ruining their song.”

Long echoed Strahan’s sentiments, humorously criticizing Bradshaw for his subpar performance. “Freddie Mercury’s rolling over [in] his grave,” he quipped, causing the panel to burst into laughter.

There appears to be no bad blood between Strahan and Bradshaw, who asserted last year that he has no desire to leave FOX any time soon. “I love the commentating, I absolutely love it and I cannot wait to get to work Sunday,” he said.

“I’ve been doing it 43, 44 years and the guys I’m working with, man, you [Talking to the host of the show, Brisby] would love it. It’s a locker room atmosphere for us and we all love and care about one another.

“Everybody is happy for everybody’s success, whether it’s Howie doing sneaker commercials or movies or Michael with ‘Good Morning America’, you know, whatever it doesn’t matter,” Bradshaw continued. “You know Curt [Menefee] is now with Fox in New York City hosting the morning show, so it’s so much fun.

“And then you know it’s a one hour show then you watch football all day, and you do highlights, half-time, Super Bowls, play-off games, I mean we do some amazing things at FOX.”
