This marks the fourth consecutive year that all three children of the Prince and Princess of Wales have attended the holiday service at Sandringham. Prince Louis made his debut in 2022, while Prince George and Princess Charlotte first joined in 2019, quickly establishing themselves as public favourites.

After the service, the three Wales children were seen chatting animatedly with their cousins, Lena and Mia Tindall, before rejoining their parents to greet well-wishers who had gathered along the estate. Their lively interactions and natural ease with the public once again highlighted their role as the youngest generation of the monarchy.

Royal family tradition suggests the children likely opened their presents on Christmas Eve, rather than Christmas morning.

Earlier in December, the Wales children had also attended the Princess of Wales’s Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey, marking one of just three public appearances as a family of five in 2025. Their other outings included celebrations for the 80th anniversary of VE-Day in May and Trooping the Colour in June, underscoring a careful balance between private family life and public duties.
