WAYNE ROONEY “hates” Mr Tumble and got a vasectomy because he couldn’t face watching him anymore.
Manchester United icon Wazza sat through hours of the children’s clown character with all four of his sons – Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass.

And it was his fourth CBeebies bonanza that convinced him to go under the knife.
He told The Wayne Rooney Show: “I hate Mr Tumble.
“I was in the dressing room for Match of the Day and he was next to me.
“The reason I hate him, well I don’t hate him for what he does, it’s just that I’ve had to sit through it four times with every kid. It’s got to the point now where I just can’t.
“He’s the reason I’ve got the snip. I couldn’t have another kid to go through it again.”
Rooney’s wife of 17 years, Coleen, seems to be under a different impression about why they didn’t try for a fifth.
She revealed in a 2023 interview that the family felt “complete” once Cass – now seven years old – came along, despite the fact they hadn’t had a girl.
Coleen explained: “I always thought I’d have a few kids, maybe three at the most, but then number four came along and we knew our family was complete then.
“Me and Wayne talked about him having a vasectomy. He said after this baby that’s it, we’re not having anymore, and Wayne went in and got the snip so I knew for sure we wouldn’t have anymore children.”
Wayne and Coleen met in Liverpool when they were just 12 years old, started dating four years later and then tied the knot in 2008.
Their eldest son, Kai, is way past his Mr Tumble days and tearing up United’s youth ranks.
The 16-year-old is already playing two years above his age group as he looks to follow in his dad’s footsteps by turning pro.
Next-oldest son Klay, 12, is also on United’s books, and youngest Cass plays for Everton, while nine-year-old Kit is more interested in becoming a darts sensation, according to Coleen.
