Sarah Ferguson who has not sat in the Royal Box in over three decades was joined by her daughter, Princess Beatrice At Wimbledon Today!

At long last, Wimbledon is here. The famed grass court tournament at All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club typically sees numerous stars attend over the two weeks—including many members of the royal family, who typically sit in the Royal Box on Centre Court. Kicking off this year’s royal attendance is Princess Beatrice, who was front and center in the Royal Box on day one to watch defending men’s champion Carlos Alcaraz play.
Princess Beatrice was joined by her mom, Sarah Ferguson, who hasn’t sat in the Royal Box at Wimbledon since 1988—when she attended with her sister-in-law, Princess Diana.

The Duchess of York has made a return into the royal inner circle in recent years, stepping out at Royal Ascot, joining the royal family for the traditional Easter Sunday Mattins Service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, and even participating in the walk to church at Sandringham on Christmas day in 2023. (She skipped this past year following public backlash regarding her ex-husband Prince Andrew’s connections to alleged spy Yang Tengbo).
Ferguson and Prince Andrew divorced in 1996, but they still live together at the Royal Lodge in Windsor. In addition, when Queen Elizabeth passed away, Ferguson inherited her corgis.
