Princess Kate and Prince William’s family home of Adelaide Cottage has been among those issued with an “amber alert”.
Those in affected areas have been warned to be aware of potential fire hazards as Britain weathers for a blistering heatwave.
Adelaide Cottage can be found within the expansive Windsor Castle estate in Berkshire.
The area is among those across the UK that have now been issued with an “amber alert” by the UK Health Security Agency due to the extreme temperatures.

Beyond just the heat itself, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) warned areas of adjacent to open grassland may be at heightened risk of fires.
Attention has been drawn to areas like Windsor Park, which is both an enormous parkland and a tourist attraction.
Such hotspots and recreational areas are said to become particularly hazardous when visitors fail to properly extinguish barbecues or carelessly discard smoking materials.
Recent incidents in Dorset and at Edinburgh’s Arthur’s Seat demonstrate how quickly fires can spread in popular spots during parched conditions.
The warning was issued amid soaring temperatures across the UK, increasing the risk of wildfires is grassy areas popular with tourists
Steve Cole, Director of Policy at RoSPA, labelled the recent blazes as a “stark reminder that the UK is not immune to the dangers of extreme heat.
“With temperatures soaring and vegetation drying out, the risk of wildfires increases dramatically, even in urban and coastal areas,” he warned.
Cole emphasised that such fires were avoidable and that basic precautions could prevent most incidents.
“The fact is that many wildfires are preventable. Simple actions — like properly disposing of cigarettes, and avoiding open flames can make a huge difference,” he stressed.

The RoSPA director warned that climate change was exacerbating the threat faced across the UK.
“Climate change is contributing to longer, hotter summers and increasing the frequency of extreme weather events in the UK,” he said.
“The recent fires underscore the need for greater public awareness and preparedness.”
It is not currently known if William and Kate are currently staying at Adelaide Cottage as members of the Royal Family traditionally spend August in Scotland, away from public duties.
King Charles has already begun his Scottish summer retreat, though he continues official engagements such as a visit to Number 42 Squadron at RAF Lossiemouth in Moray.
The news comes as William and Kate are believed to be considering a move away from Adelaide Cottage in favour of a larger property.
Fort Belvedere, which can be found tucked away in a secluded part of Windsor Great Park, is currently considered the couple’s first choice.
The Grade II-listed Gothic-revival mansion, known colloquially as The Fort, was built in the 18th century and comes with a sprawling 59 acres of grounds.

“They feel they have outgrown Adelaide Cottage and need somewhere more substantial,” a source close to William and Kate told the Daily Mail.
Fort Belvedere boasts a robust royal history, once being home to Edward VIII before he became King and after his abdication to marry Wallis Simpsons.
William and Kate are understood to be carefully weighing up the options of upscaling, but a move from Adelaide Cottage is not imminent.
The Prince and Princess first moved into Adelaide Cottage in August 2022, just weeks before the death of Queen Elizabeth in Balmoral.
