Katie Price’s new mother-in-law has stepped forward to defend the reality star’s shock wedding to her son, dismissing criticism of the whirlwind romance and insisting that it is “unfair to judge”.

But Lee’s mother, Trisha Andrews, has brushed aside concerns over the sudden nuptials, stating that happiness is all that truly matters.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, the 61-year-old clairvoyant from Nottinghamshire admitted she has not yet met Katie in person, but revealed the pair have already been in frequent contact.

“I am very happy for my son and that he is in love, whoever they are,” Trisha said. “I have my thoughts about Katie, but I don’t want to broadcast them. It’s unfair to judge people.”

She added firmly: “I won’t have a bad word said about my son or Katie. As a mother, I will always defend my son. As long as they are happy together, that’s all that matters.”

While Katie’s own family have admitted they were left “in the dark” about the wedding, Trisha revealed she was informed “a bit in advance” about the Dubai ceremony.

Although she has yet to meet the bride face-to-face, Trisha said: “No, I haven’t met her yet — but I hope to soon. We’ve been speaking a lot.”

Describing her son affectionately, Trisha — who is often referred to online as an “international legend” after a 30-year career as a clairvoyant and medium — joked that Lee is a “good looker”, adding: “He takes after his mother!”

She also sought to clear up confusion surrounding her son’s relationship history, insisting that contrary to reports, Lee has only been married once before — not twice.

Addressing speculation around his past with health and fitness coach Dina Taji, Trisha said: “She was never his wife, just his girlfriend. They were never married.”

However, she declined to name the woman Lee was previously married to and divorced before settling down with Katie — who herself has been married three times before.

Trisha had previously told friends online that Lee had been engaged to Dina, whom he met in a Dubai gym in early 2020, praising her and her family in glowing terms at the time.

Yet fresh scrutiny has emerged after it was revealed that Lee proposed to Katie using the exact same Dubai hotel room, flowers and engagement ring that he had used to propose to girlfriend Alana Percival just four months earlier.

In both proposals, rose petals and tealights spelling out “Will you marry me” were arranged on the floor of a luxurious spa at the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, with each woman presented an identical bouquet of roses wrapped in brown paper.

Lee has been based in Dubaifor 21 years and has documented his flash lifestyle on his social media channels, claiming to be a multimillionaire, but many of his claims appear to be bogus

Alana — who bears a striking resemblance to Katie with tattoos, long hair extensions and a deep tan — is also believed to have invested in one of Lee’s companies before later calling off the engagement after reportedly growing suspicious of his intentions.

A source told The Sun: “Katie’s friends hope she’s smart enough to question his motives.”

While many of the posts about his ‘company’ appear to be AI-generated, including one supposedly alongside billionaire Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk (seen) and a clip of Kim Kardashian signing some company merchandise

Meanwhile, further questions have been raised over Lee’s business claims. Based in Dubai for more than two decades, he has documented a lavish lifestyle on social media, presenting himself as a multimillionaire and CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027.

However, many of his posts — including beach snaps, gym selfies and company promotions — appear heavily edited, with several images and videos believed to be AI-generated, including one allegedly showing him alongside Elon Musk and another featuring Kim Kardashian signing merchandise.

Katie’s family are said to have been left “blindsided” and “completely horrified” by the sudden fourth marriage, with insiders claiming she had only met Lee in person days before the ceremony.

The mother-of-five reportedly connected with Lee via social media, flew to Dubai shortly after, and bought wedding rings — including her diamond Cartier band — before they even met face-to-face.

Katie later described their connection as “esoteric”, saying: “We connected through words first… then matching tattoos… then buying rings for each other. We let fate — or destiny — decide.”

Katie’s romance with Lee came just days after it was revealed she had split from JJ Slater, her boyfriend of two years. Sources say the news also came as a shock to JJ, who is currently in Miami with family while “healing his broken heart”.

Katie, who has previously been engaged eight times and married three times — to Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler — now faces renewed questions as she prepares to return home.
