Inside the $319 Million Island Resort Where Will Smith and Tom Brady Vacation on Private Yachts: You Won’t Believe!

Will Smith and Tom Brady are among the famous faces vacationing on a newly-opened $319,000,000 island resort.

The luxury destination, located in Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk region, has been dubbed ‘the gateway to the Red Sea’.

It’s part of the country’s $1 trillion Neom region project, which includes the construction of a megacity known as The Line.

The project, part of the country’s Vision 2030 plan, was launched in 2016.

Fronted by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, who is thought to be worth around $25 billion, it’s described as ‘a blueprint that is diversifying the economy, empowering citizens, creating a vibrant environment for both local and international investors, and establishing Saudi Arabia as a global leader’.

Neom’s The Line will be the first of its kind; a 170km-long and 200m wide city without cars or roads, which will run entirely on renewable energy.

Other developments include mountain resort Trojena, which could become the first major outdoor skiing destination in the Arabian Peninsula.

Floating industrial district Oxagon, ‘upside-down skyscraper’ Aquellum and valley tourist destination Leyja are all in the works, too.

But its beach tourism venture, the luxury island of Sindalah, was the first to open on October 27 2024.

US jewelry designer Jacob Arabo was among the first to visit the island, alongside Hollywood legend Will Smith and former NFL star Tom Brady.

Arabo posted a photo of himself with the celebrity duo, joined by entrepeneur David Grutman and friends, on one of Sindalah’s yachts.

Posting to Instagram, he wrote: “Celebrating the future at @neomsindalah.”

Let’s take a look at what exactly is on the new island getaway…

Sindalah itself is spread over 840,000 square meters and aims to attract an impressive 2,400 visitors a day by 2028.

Among its attractions is a beach club with infinity pools, a yacht club and a sports club with a high-tech gym and access to water sports.

It’s also home to a 5,920 meter golf course with panoramic sea views.

Meanwhile developers have vowed to usher in ‘a new season of sailing’ with the island’s state-of-the-art marina, which can moor up to 84 vessels.

The cornerstone of the island will be The Village, which offers ‘fine dining, community cafés and late-night venues.’

Meanwhile, Sindalah boasts three high-end resorts – Glamour by the Luxury Collection, Nature by Autograph Collection and Sophistication by Four Seasons.

The Luxury Collection is also providing an all-suite hotel, while Marriott Bonvoy is behind a block of apartments known as Homely.

As you may have noticed, Sindalah has no roads – and will therefore have no cars.

That’s because developers wanted visitors to have everything they needed within a five-minute walk.

Antoni Vives, chief urban planning Officer at NEOM, previously said: “Sindalah is a new frontier for leisure, exploration and self-fulfillment. We want to provide new and improved experiences in this world – with sustainability, connectivity and joy in mind.”
