Speaking of the game, minority owner Mark Cuban was present on the sidelines. Unfortunately, Cuban’s presence made things worse for fans due to one major incident.

Mark Cuban recalls heated altercation with ejected Mavs fan

If trading away Doncic wasn’t enough, the organization has tried its best to suppress any protests from fans during home games at the American Airlines Center.

The Mavs followed their plan during their loss vs. the Kings as security ejected any fan who tried to start a “Fire Nico” chant. At one point during the game, fans started booing when players were on the free-throw line.

Enter, Mark Cuban, who stood up from his seat and dropped profanity-filled comments on a fan, who was later identified to be Chris Tayler, per Grant Afseth of the Dallas Hoops Journal. But what led to Mark’s actions? He explained in an exclusive chat with Afseth.

“Fans were booing during crunch time while we had the ball and while we were shooting [free throws]. I wanted to see why. So I looked where they were looking to see why they were booing. When the guy (it was just one) saw me, he started screaming at me,” Cuban said.
