Kansas City Chiefs beat San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII and Patrick Mahomes sent a warning to Tom Brady and the entire NFL.
A dynasty was at stake and the seal of verification had arrived. The 2024 Super Bowl became the second in NFL history to be decided in overtime, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers and after the victory in Las Vegas , Patrick Mahomes did not hesitate and sent a warning to Tom Brady and the entire league.
Leading up to Super Bowl LVIII , one of the big questions was whether Mahomes could match Brady’s seven Super Bowl titles in 23 seasons. Would that bother the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback ? He’s made that clear.
After Patrick Mahomes said “ we still have a long way to go. They ( Patriots ) did it for 20 years. All we can do is take it year by year, week by week and every day. That’s the long-term goal, to win as many championships and bring those titles back to this organization , ” Brady talked about what it would mean to be matched in Super Bowl titles.
Tom Brady appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on January 30 and said, “ If someone can go out and win seven Super Bowls, I have a lot of respect for them . I understand how hard it is. I’m going to congratulate them and give whoever it is a big hug . ” He said that before Mahomes got his third championship ring with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs came from behind in Super Bowl LVIII and after being ten points down, they managed to force the game at Allegiant Stadium to go into overtime. That’s when Patrick Mahomes appeared and after a touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman, he sealed the victory against the San Francisco 49ers by 25 to 22 points. “I give glory to God. He challenges us to be better and I’m proud of my boys. This is impressive, it’s legendary ,” the Chiefs’ QB began by saying to the CBS Sports channel broadcast for Super Bowl 2024 and the question that would lead to the warning to Brady and the entire NFL was about to arrive.

“Is this a dynasty now?” the CBS Sports reporter asked, and Patrick Mahomes ’ message to Tom Brady and the NFL was going to be blunt. “ Yes, it’s the beginning of a (dynasty). We’re not done . We’re going to celebrate tonight (February 11, 2024), we’re going to have the parade in Kansas City, but we’re not done. We have a young, rookie team to keep this going ,” the Chiefs quarterback said after winning Super Bowl LVIII .

The Chiefs’ QB did so at the age of 28, while Tom Brady also had three Super Bowl championship rings at that age, but with two MVPs in the final of the best American football in the world.
