The 60-year-old reality legend—real name Raymond Scott—claims he was “side-swiped” by a getaway car while desperately trying to stop his former fiancée, Althea Eaton, from “snatching” their young son at a Georgia bus stop.

But in a classic case of “he-said, she-said,” Althea has hit back, branding the rapper a liar and claiming he’s FAKING his injuries to keep her away from their boy.
THE ‘AMBUSH’
The drama kicked off on Wednesday afternoon in what neighbors described as a scene straight out of an action flick. Benzino told sources he was simply waiting for his son, Zino, to get off the school bus when the peace was shattered.
According to the star, Althea rolled up in a car driven by her pal—Crime Mob rapper Diamond—and allegedly attempted to grab the youngster and bolt.
“They tried to snatch Zino right off the street,” a source close to the star revealed. “It was total chaos.”
As the ladies allegedly tried to speed away from the scene, Benzino claims he was struck by the vehicle. The impact reportedly sent the “Rock The Party” rapper flying, leaving him crumpled on the asphalt.
RUSHED TO REHAB
Cops were called to the scene and were so concerned by Benzino’s condition that they immediately summoned an ambulance.

The star is currently nursing a battered body in a Georgia hospital bed. Speaking from his ward, a shaken Benzino revealed:
Head & Arm: Battered after smashing into the side of the car.
Back: Described as “all messed up” following the hard landing on the pavement.
While Benzino recovers, his legal team is likely gearing up for a war. However, there was a small victory for the dad—Child Protective Services (CPS) reportedly intercepted the vehicle, retrieved young Zino, and returned him safely to his father’s care.
‘IT’S ALL BS!’
But hold your horses! Althea Eaton isn’t taking the accusations lying down. Speaking out after the “hit-and-run” claims surfaced, she tore into her ex, insisting the entire story is a work of fiction.
“This is a father who is keeping a child from his mother,” Althea fumed. “He’s trying to make a mockery of this situation, but this is my livelihood!”
Althea claims she hasn’t laid eyes on her son in MONTHS and only showed up at the house to perform a “wellness check” because she was worried sick. She denied any kidnap plot and went straight for the jugular, alleging that Benzino’s hospital stay is nothing more than a stunt.

“He hasn’t even tried to contact me since he supposedly got ‘hurt,’” she added. “I feel like I need to go get my child right now.”
A TOXIC TALE
This isn’t the first time the pair have traded blows in public. The former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta power couple have been locked in a bitter “War of Words” for years.
From social media roasts to courtroom clashes, their relationship has been more “Knockout” than “Knockout Roses.” But this latest escalation—involving police, ambulances, and Diamond from Crime Mob—marks a dark new chapter for the feuding exes.
Friends of Diamond have yet to comment on her alleged role as the “getaway driver,” but the Atlanta rap scene is already buzzing with the fallout.

WHAT’S NEXT?
As Benzino undergoes tests for his back and head injuries, the big question remains: Who is telling the truth?
Benzino portrays himself as the protective papa who put his body on the line to stop a kidnapping.
Althea claims she’s a desperate mum being “gaslit” by a reality star looking for his next headline.
One thing is for sure—with CPS now involved and a “messed up” back in the mix, this hip-hop soap opera is far from over.
Will Benzino press charges? Will Althea get her day in court? Stay tuned to The Sun for the latest updates on the battle for Zino.
