Natasha Archer has announced that she has stepped down from her role alongside Princess Kate earlier this week.

Princess Kate’s personal assistant and stylist Natasha Archer announced that she was stepping down from her role earlier this week. Natasha, who has been described as one of the royal’s most trusted aides, had been working alongside Kate for 15 years.
Natasha, who was promoted to senior private executive assistant to Prince William and Princess Kate in 2022, is leaving her royal role to set up her own private consultancy. As well as being in charge of Kate’s wardrobe and, Natasha was responsible for managing her diaries and projects.

During her time alongside the royal couple, she has flown all over the world in her role.

Following her announcement, speculation has grown over who could replace Natasha – with a major royal fashion Instagram account suggesting that it could be Virginia Chadwyck-Healey, or Ginnie as she’s known.

Ginnie, who also attended the University of St Andrews like Kate and William, was invited to their royal wedding in 2011.

She also stepped in for Natasha during her maternity leave in 2019. Taking to her her latest Substack post, she wrote: “That period marked a slight but noticeable shift evolution in Catherine’s wardrobe – a shift towards bolder colours, sleeker tailoring and more fashion-forward silhouettes.”

Samatha from the Royal Fashion Daily Instagram account – formerly known as the Royal Fashion Police – also suggested that Princess Kate’s mum could have hinted at her daughter’s new hire last week.

Ginnie recently collaborated with Beulah London, with Carole Middleton stepping out in the Helena Toffee Stripe Dress from their limited edition collection.

Samantha wrote: “Chadwyck-Healey acknowledged the gesture on Instagram – thanking the wearer without directly naming her.

“For those familiar with royal messaging, such subtle signals often speak volumes.”
