Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are said to be “emotionally drained” following their parents’ humiliation. The daughters of disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson have faced a difficult few months as their parents had another fall from grace.
Andrew and Fergie, as she is also known, lost their titles and were forced to move out of their home in Windsor since 2008, Royal Lodge. The repercussions came following years of mounting allegations against their links to convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew has always denied and wrongdoing and Fergie has distanced herself from the late financier.

However, despite the King banishing their parents from royal life, Beatrice and Eugenie’s roles within the Firm remained unaffected. The Palace were quick to stress that the changes to Andrew and Fergie will not affect the two young princesses.
But a royal expert said that the latest drama in recent months may have taken its toll on Andrew’s daughters.
ITV’s royal editor Chris Ship told the Mirror: “The guidance from Buckingham Palace around Andrew was that Beatrice and Eugenie’s position in the Royal Family was unaffected.
“Obviously, they shouldn’t be held responsible for their father’s missteps, but it must still be emotionally draining for them to see how he has been humiliated and had his reputation completely torn to shreds right across the world.”
It comes as a friend of the royal sisters set the record straight on whether they speak to their father at all.
They claimed Eugenie will not be estranged from Andrew forever, telling the Mail: “Andrew’s main concern is that his daughters are not tainted by his difficulties, so he is keeping his distance from them.”
“Bea and Eug feel very sorry for their parents. They are keeping in touch with them and making sure they’re OK.”
The source added: “Both Andrew and Sarah want their daughters to remain part of the Royal Family and were happy for them to spend Christmas in Norfolk.”
