“The chapter William and Kate have dreaded”
rince William and Kate Middleton could be facing a “dreaded chapter” when it comes to the scandal surrounding Prince Andrew.
According to a new report, the Prince and Princes of Wales “have drawn up what aides privately call the final line” when it comes to the Duke of York.
Prince William alongside his wife, Kate, and their three children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte, are moving into their new home soon. They’re moving into Forest Lodge, which is a short drive from Andrew‘s home, Royal Lodge.

Prince Andrew scandal
Things are already predicted to change for Prince Andrew whenever Prince William takes the throne after his father. But it seems their frayed relationship might already be causing issues for William.
Speaking to Closer, a source has allegedly said that William and Kate, both 43, want Prince Andrew, 65, “permanently off the stage”.
The Duke of York has been surrounded by scandal the last few years, mainly over his association with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
This is the chapter William and Kate have dreaded. They want Andrew permanently off the stage.
In 2019, Prince Andrew stepped back from royal duties as his friendship with Epstein and allegations of sexual assault against him made headlines.
Virginia Giuffre alleged that Epstein made her sleep with Prince Andrew on three occasions when she was 17 years old in the early 2000s. The duke has always denied the allegations and claimed he doesn’t remember ever meeting her.
In February 2022, the duke and Ms Giuffre – who took her own life in April – reached an out-of-court settlement after she sued him in a civil case in the US.
A month earlier, Andrew had lost his military titles and royal patronages.

‘No royal role, no funding, and no future public appearances for Andrew’
Amid all the scandal, Prince Andrew has kept a low profile. According to reports, he mostly spends his days at his home in Windsor.
He rarely makes public appearances with the royal family, only recently at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral. Andrew was seen trying to make conversation with his nephew, William.
Now, a source reportedly claims that William and Kate “want Andrew permanently off the stage”. It comes as Ms Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl, is set to be released next week.
The insider told Closer: “This is the chapter William and Kate have dreaded. They want Andrew permanently off the stage.
“Together, William and Kate are said to have drawn up what aides privately call the final line: no royal role, no funding, and no future public appearances for Andrew. It’s the firmest position yet and one that could finally banish the Yorks [Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson] from the royal inner circle for good.”
Royal Insider has contacted reps for Kensington Palace for comment.

Do Prince William and Andrew get along?
While nothing has ever been directly said by either of the princes, it has been reported that Prince William does not get on with his uncle.
It’s believed that the scandals surrounding Andrew have put a rift in their relationship. And one royal commentator even suggested that Andrew should fear the day Prince William becomes king.
