The royals will be moving before Christmas
rince William and Kate Middleton have angered their new Forest Lodge neighbours already, according to reports.
The royal couple will move into their new home, Forest Lodge, later this year. However, their new neighbours are reportedly unhappy about some of the security changes coming their way.

Prince William and Kate Middleton set for move to Forest Lodge
Later this year, William and Kate, along with their three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, will move to eight-bedroom Forest Lodge in Windsor.
The move will come just over three years after they moved into their current home, four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage.
Forest Lodge – which has a surprise link to the Duke of Windsor – is just four miles down the road from Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, so it’s not going to be a major upheaval for the royals.
The lodge, which was built in the 1700s, is being described as the family’s “forever home”. William is expected to continue living there, even when he eventually becomes king.

William and Kate’s new neighbours ‘unhappy’ with security changes
To ensure that William, Kate and family are safe in their new home, several security measures are reportedly set to be implemented when they move into the Forest Lodge.
Unfortunately for their new neighbours, these measures could have an impact on them too.
I think there are lots of other places they could have gone to live.
According to reports, fencing will be put up around the property, cameras will be installed, and there will be a 150 acre “no-go” zone. Anyone who is found to violate the no-go zone will be arrested.
Ahead of the move, people were apparently allowed to walk near the home, and there was even a Christmas tree shop nearby. However, the new restrictions will put paid to this.
Some of the family’s new neighbours have complained about the security measures during a chat with The Telegraph.

‘I’m pretty angry’
“[The royal family] encourage us to go out in the fresh air, and then they’re restricting us. I’m totally in favour of protecting the royal family against idiots who might try to shoot at them or take photographs. But the house is very far away, they’ve put a huge fence around it and there are lots of cameras in the fields. We’re not impressed, I’m afraid,” one is reported to have said.
“I’m pretty angry about it. I think there are lots of other places they could have gone to live. I was excited when I heard they were moving there, but I always wondered how they would manage the security. They haven’t given us any warning or notice. And there hasn’t been any explanation other than it’s for security,” another allegedly complained.
“It’s not so much the security measure itself that people are questioning, but the lack of clarity and transparency about why specific paths were chosen and whether any alternatives will be provided. It feels like a public right of way has quietly become off-limits without explanation,” a third is reported to have said.
