Sergio Pérez ganó la Acción del Año de FIA por un rebase doble
Luego de que terminara la temporada de la Fórmula 1 2024, las buenas noticias para Sergio Pérez parecen llegar de golpe.
Primero, porque terminó su calvario arriba del RB20 con el que no pudo ser competitivo sobre las pistas y eso le costó el campeonato de constructores a Red Bull, que lo cedió a McLaren.

Segundo, durante la mañana de este viernes se dieron a conocer los pilotos que las escuderías registraron para la F1 2025 y Checo Pérez está con Red Bull Racing, mientras que Liam Lawson, el candidato de Helmut Marko para reemplazarlo, no aparece en la lista con RB, solo está Yuki Tsunoda.
Esta situación sugiere que el mexicano estará con el equipo que comanda Christian Horner en el inicio de la próxima campaña, pero Red Bull no ha confirmado nada sobre sus pilotos.

Sergio Pérez tiene contrato con el equipo hasta 2026, pero tanto Horner como Marko han señalado que su permanencia depende de resultados, lo cuales no fueron positivos este año.

Pero hay una tercera buena noticia para el de Guadalajara: la Federación Internacional de Automovilismo (FIA) le otorgó, mediante previa votación, el premio Acción del Año por un doble rebase que le hizo a Fernando Alonso y Carlos Sainz en el GP de China.
Esta es una categoría donde Checo Pérez suele aparecer, ya que es uno de los pilotos más atrevidos en el trazado, aunque no siempre resulte bien la maniobra, como han demostrado los percances y accidentes que ha tenido en la F1.
