Authorities are continuing to search Savannah Guthrie’s sister Annie Guthrie’s neighborhood in the hours after they released images of an “armed” figure potentially connected to their mother Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
Officials with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) were seen searching the neighborhood and asking neighbors questions.
Tony Zaccagnini, a neighbor, tells PEOPLE he spoke to three sheriffs regarding Nancy’s disappearance.
“They didn’t ask for my phone number or nothing, but I got a camera set up around my property in the back and in the front,” Zaccagnini, 74, says.
“And they were there last week, asking to look at my cameras. We didn’t see nothing on it,” Zaccagnini tells PEOPLE of the PCSO’s review of the surveillance footage obtained by his own home cameras.
“We’re not confirming anything at this time,” a Phoenix FBI spokesperson tells PEOPLE.
Law enforcement officials were initially seen at the residence of Annie and her husband, Tommaso Cioni, late in the evening of Feb. 7, just hours after Annie and siblings Savannah and Camron Guthrie shared a new video message for their mom’s potential kidnapper.
Annie’s property is located approximately four miles from her mother’s longtime home in Tucson, where she was taken in the middle of the night on Jan. 31, authorities said.
Tracy Walder, a former CIA and FBI special agent, told PEOPLE ahead of searching Annie and Cioni’s property, law enforcement officials “may have either asked Annie’s permission,” obtained a search warrant or both.

The search of Annie’s neighborhood continues after authorities released photos of an “armed” individual potentially connected to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. The images show a person with a mask over their face wearing gloves, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in a post on X, adding that the person appears to have tampered with the camera at the victim’s front door.

“Working with our partners — as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance,” the statement read.
Nancy’s family initially reported her missing on Feb. 1, when she did not attend church. Shortly after, law enforcement launched a massive investigation into her disappearance, saying they believe she was taken against her will, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said at a press conference on Tuesday, Feb. 3.

Nancy was last seen in the evening of Jan. 31 when her son-in-law, Cioni, dropped her off at her house after she had dinner with him and Annie at their home, Nanos previously told The New York Times.
A trail of what appears to be blood was seen on the front steps of Nancy’s home that authorities confirmed is hers.
Police confirmed that blood found on the exterior porch of Nancy’s Tucson home matches her DNA.
Remnants of a Ring camera had also been removed from the front door area, PEOPLE confirmed.
The FBI is urging anyone with tips or leads to call 1-800-CALL-FBI in addition to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office number, 520-351-4900.
