Rich Homie Quan’s longtime girlfriend, Amber Williams, breaks her silence, publicly mourning his untimely death.

On Friday (Sept. 20), Williams took to Instagram, sharing, “This has to be the toughest thing I’ve ever endured.”

Adding, “Don’t even know how to gather my words. When I met you I had no idea how our life was gonna change for the good. You got locked up & that time apart brought us closer. Fast forward, on the rise of your career I knew what I signed up for. No one could tell me anything about you, I wasn’t going for it. Support is an understatement!

“I’m still gonna go hard for you til this day. Never had anything hit me this close. I did all I could to make you smile despite what we’ve been through it taught me to be stronger. All this time I thought I was strong but this got me weak. Our boys worship the ground you walked on. Feel like someone ripped my heart out of my chest.

“You worked your ass off & I finally convinced you that we need to start vacationing in which we did. Always made sure you be an active father to all your kids. I couldn’t treat you like an artist because you’re still human. My 1st love & my last. I can’t question God but I can call on him just like I could call on you. You had so much more to do but it’s on us to keep your name alive. I’m hurt, devastated, numb, angry, disappointed, just flat out numb.”

She concluded: “I do know one thing for certain is that I gave you your flowers 💐 while you were here with us & I did my part! Idk if I’ll ever be okay! No matter what it was we never spent holidays & birthdays without each other. You’re truly missed & loved by us all. Nothing could define us, nothing could stop us but this hit me where it hurts the most. I love you 🕊️💔😢 can’t nobody tell me how to grieve or cope with this! Just want peace, you would always say “until death do us part” but this was way too soon!”

We previously reported that Rich Homie Quan (real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar), tragically passed away at 33. He was found unresponsive by his girlfriend at their southwest Atlanta home last Thursday (Sept. 5).

Rich Homie Quan’s brother told police he discovered the ““Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” rapper sleeping on the floor around 3 a.m., sensing something was wrong but not immediately calling for help.

“[He] advised me that it was very unusual because he had food in his mouth,” the officer detailed in the report. “He lifted him up and put him on the sofa.”

Meanwhile, Richie’s girlfriend shared that she woke up around 6:45 a.m. to discover he wasn’t in their bedroom – finding him on the sofa while getting their kids ready for school. Going about her day, she left to drop them off. Returning to the house, she found him still unresponsive, and after finding his body cold, called 911.

He was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
