Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor update as vans spotted at disgraced royal’s new home

Removal vans have been pictured arriving at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s new home, Marsh Farm. The vans were spotted outside the five-bedroom home on Tuesday morning, suggesting that his move from his temporary Wood Farm residence could be imminent, Bav Media reports.

Andrew was staying at Wood Farm when he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public office last month on his 66th birthday. Police arrived at the Sandringham Estate unannounced and arrested the ex-prince, before taking him to Aylsham Police Station, where he was interviewed for over 11 hours, before being released under investigation.

He has been staying at Wood Farm while much-needed improvements at Marsh Farm have been completed. These have included the installation of a tall security fence, landscaping, new carpets and a Sky TV dish.

On Tuesday, three removal vans from Gander & White arrived at the property. The company has a royal warrant and specialises in transporting fine art and has worked for prestigious clients, including the National Portrait Gallery in London.

Founded in 1933, they offer a specialist service packing, transporting and installing fine art pieces for clients from art dealers to auction houses to private collectors and museums around the world.
It states on their website: “We have been entrusted with caring for some of the world’s most precious objects and artworks, safeguarding them with the utmost care and discretion for over 90 years.”

It remains unclear exactly what the three lorries were transporting to Andrew’s new home, although several valuable pieces from the Royal Collection Trust were known to previously be on display in his former 30-room home, Royal Lodge, in Windsor.

Renovations at Marsh Farm have been ongoing since the start of the year, when Andrew departed Royal Lodge in the middle of the night.

He was evicted from his former home after it was revealed he had been paying only a peppercorn rent to the Crown Estate. The home, which was previously lived in by Andrew’s grandmother, The Queen Mother, became his in 2004. Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, also moved into the property with her ex-husband in 2008.

While the former Duke of York was rehoused at Wood Farm while renovations at his new home were completed, Sarah was not provided for and has reportedly jetted around the world since crude details of her past association with Jeffrey Epstein emerged.
