Rihanna makes no qualms about how much she enjoys being a boy mom, but she has revealed she’s hoping to balance out the energy in her house with a daughter.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight published on Thursday (October 24), the singer and mother of two gushed about the “boy energy” at her house — which she shares with partner A$AP Rocky and their toddler boys, two-year-old RZA and nine-month-old Riot Rose.

“The best, I live for it,” she said. “It’s never a dull moment. I love when they climb off the chandeliers. I love when they literally are so scary that I’m forced to have fun. Me running around, me lifting them up, it’s all fun, it’s all exercise. But it works out for both of us, all of our kids.”

When interviewer Kevin Frazier brought up that he heard that Rih wants to add a little girl to her brood, the singer immediately confirmed.

“I wanna have a girl,” she added. “I wouldn’t know what to do ’cause I only know about boys so far. It will be a new adventure.

A few weeks ago, Rihanna captured some of the zany boy energy she spoke of in a home video, which she soundtracked with the original Mission: Impossible theme song.

In the clip, the enterprising toddler is seen trying to climb his way out of the kiddy enclosure. After a couple of initial attempts, he figures out how to leverage himself onto a bench next to the playpen, climbs down and heads straight for his sippy cup.

“Being a boy mom is an Olympic sport,” Rihanna captioned the post, along with a face-palm emoji, blue heart and shrug emoji.

Earlier this month, Rihanna hit the red carpet for the launch of her Savage x Fenty line in Nordstrom, and spoke to Access Hollywood‘s Scott Evans about her journey as a mom.

“It’s fun, I literally, I enjoy it so much,” Rih gushed. “I am just looking at them and living through them and I’m amazed by every new discovery of theirs, even their boundaries. They’re teaching me how to be their mom as much as I’m teaching them how to be in this world and guide them as best as I can.”

And as for RZA becoming a big brother, he’s enjoying it just as much too!

“The second that his baby brother cries, he’s there,” she said. “He’s running down, he’s actually crying too. He’s worried. He loves him! It’s just hard to share toys and pacifiers.”
