Rapper Lucas Coly killed himself with a single gunshot wound to the head after posting a chilling final message to his fans.
Rumors surrounding the young star’s death began circulating earlier this week after he posted a frightening final message to fans on Instagram.
The Instagram story had a simple message from the 27-year-old: ‘I love y’all.’
In the days that followed, his manager posted a lengthy tribute that was later removed.
The Clark County Office of Corner and Medical Examiner confirmed the manner and cause of Coly’s death on Friday, as Coly’s heartbroken girlfriend shared her own tribute online.

He posted this cryptic message on his Instagram before his suicide
Fans have since flood his social media profile with tributes to the late performer, of Henderson, Nevada.
‘I pray you finally for the peace of mind that you deserve . Rest is paradise Lucas Coly,’ one person wrote.
‘No way. I refuse to believe this man, we still play him heavily,’ another added.
‘This ain’t fair man, we loved you so much. I’m so sorry you lost your battle. I hope you are at peace for real. Fly High Lucas,’ one fan said.
In the original post, Coly’s management agency I Discover Stars took to social media saying his heart was ‘ripped in half’ by the news.

‘Being your manager was one of the reasons I stayed here,’ a statement said. ‘There’s a hole in my heart right now Lucas. We used to speak on our struggles all the time but smile for the fans.’
Coly moved from France to the US in 1996 and made his name on Vine where videos of him rapping in English and French garnered him a loyal following.
He then transitioned to YouTube and Instagram where he has 470,000 and 1.2 million followers respectively.
Among his most popular songs were I Just Wanna, Break Ya Back and Numb which racked up millions of views.
Coly was romantically linked to influencer Amber H and his agents asked for prayers for her.
The performer also collaborated with fellow social media stars Willgotthejuice and Dillyn Troy as part of the group Diamondz.
