Liam Payne‘s heartbroken girlfriend Kate Cassidy gave back to the community as she made ‘meals on wheels’ with close friends in New York on Thursday.
The influencer, 25, returned to social media following the One Direction singer’s shock death after he fell from a third floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires on October 16.
Kate took to Instagram to repost short clips of herself originally shared by a friend, making takeaway pasta dishes in a kitchen.
She cut a casual figure in a cropped white T-shirt which she paired with jeans and an oversized grey hoodie.
Kate was seen carefully sealing each round foil food container.
She penned: ‘Meals on wheels’ followed by a yellow heart emoji.

Kate also shared a sweet photo of the beloved dog she shared with Liam, who they adopted just weeks before his death, enjoying some of the pasta dish.
The pet pooch was seen eating the food from a fork as Kate penned: ‘Nala helped cook so she gets some’.
It comes after sources revealed that Kate spent New Year’s Eve caring for Nala while surrounded by close friends to mark the end of a devastating year.
A source told The Sun: ‘New Year’s Eve won’t be a celebratory occasion but she’s got her nearest and dearest around her.
‘Nala is also a huge source of comfort. In many ways, she’s all Kate has left of Liam.’

Kate and Liam adopted Nala from Urgent Dogs of Miami in the summer, and it was a pet they hoped might one day form part of a ‘nice and loving family’.
The troubled One Direction singer had previously described the encounter which led to the adoption as a ‘meet and greet with a couple doggos’.

Speaking of his furry friend, he added: ‘I really love her. She is so cute. She is a tiny new member of the family for a while.
‘We’re going to foster her for a while and get her really nice for a loving family I think. But we might be the nice family.’
Kate had added: ‘We did a meet and greet with three different dogs and this one fit us best. She’s so sweet. She’s only four months old. She was abandoned by her previous owners and dumped at the shelter. We wanted to give her a second chance and a better life.’
Several people have reportedly been charged in connection with the One Direction star’s death in Argentina.
Argentinian online newspaper Infobae published that five people have been charged by a judge and two have been remanded in custody.
The site claims that one of those charged is Liam’s friend Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores, who said he left the singer at the CasaSur Palermo hotel about an hour before he fell to his death.
Infobae reported that the authorities have charged him with negligent homicide.
Braian Paiz, a waiter who admitted to using drugs, including cocaine, with the singer, was charged with supplying narcotics for payment.
CasaSur employee Ezequiel Pereyra was also charged with supplying drugs.

Hotel managers Gilda Martín and Esteban Grassi have reportedly been charged with manslaughter. All five have been summoned to appear in court.
Last month, Kate shared an emotional post about dealing with grief at Christmas.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Christmas eve she shared a post which read: ‘As the holidays are here I realize it is a time for happiness and joy, but it is also a time of sadness and grief for so many.
‘Be gentle with those around you this time of year as the holidays can feel different for everyone. Sending all my love to those carrying grief this holiday.
‘I hope the season brings you comfort and peace. Wishing everyone a love-filled and healthy holiday season this year.
Earlier in the month Kate shared an emotional tribute to the late singer in a TikTok video which in the since-deleted clip showed adorable moments the couple shared during their two years together before his tragic death.
Nearly three weeks after laying him to rest in Amersham, near his hometown in England, she compiled the tribute video and wrote in her caption: ‘I love you.’
In a minute-and-a-half TikTok post, she compiled clips of them to the song Fade Into You by Mazzy Star.
They were seen laughing, hugging and kissing on adventures all over the world — at a theme park, at scenic locations and in the cozy home they shared together in Miami.
In one clip, Liam was picking her up as she yelped in delight.

She shared a clip of them enjoying a cozy getaway in a cabin and exchanging bright smiles.
His grieving girlfriend also posted videos of them laughing while skiing and having fun at the bowling alley.
She included clips of them cuddling in bed, sharing kisses on romantic dates and dancing in the bathroom together.
The couple first started dating in October 2022 and made their red carpet debut at the Fashion Awards later that year.
Before his tragic passing, they had travelled to Argentina together to support his former bandmate Niall Horan at his concert.
Kate returned to their Miami home days before Liam’s passing in Buenos Aires.
In a TikTok video she shared in the days before the tragedy, she explained that she was homesick after their five-day getaway turned into a two-week trip.
She later attended his funeral, which was also attended by his bandmates Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.
The autopsy concluded that he died from multiple injuries and external bleeding after falling from his room’s balcony on the third floor of the CasaSur hotel in the upscale neighbourhood of Palermo.
The toxicological exams showed that there were ‘traces of alcohol, cocaine and a prescribed antidepressant’ in his body prior to his passing.
