
El diputado quintanarroense, Renán Sánchez destacó la importancia del anuncio realizado por la Gobernadora Mara Lezama, sobre la inclusión de Cozumel en el Decreto de Estímulo Fiscal de Región Frontera Sur, vigente a partir del 1 de enero de 2025. Con esta medida se favorecerá la competitividad y el crecimiento económico de la isla.
El también líder del Partido Verde en Quintana Roo, destacó el impulso de la gobernadora Mara Lezama, en este proceso transformador para la isla y el estado, así como el apoyo de la primera presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum, para hacer posible este estímulo que traerá prosperidad compartida para los cozumeleños.

Dicho estímulo consiste en un crédito fiscal de 50 % del Impuesto al Valor Agregado (IVA), que se aplicará en forma directa sobre la tasa de 16 %, es decir, cozumeleños solo pagarán un 8% de IVA, lo que facilitará el crecimiento económico y mejorará la competitividad de Cozumel.
“La gobernadora está haciendo un gran trabajo para cambiar la vida de las personas y llevar prosperidad compartida”, señaló el diputado Renán Sánchez.
Este anuncio se realizó en el marco de la ceremonia con motivo de la inauguración de los tramos 6 y 7 encabezada por la presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum, en Chetumal, con los que se completa el circuito de 1,554 kilómetros que abarcan los estados de Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán y Quintana Roo.
Durante el evento, también se canceló el timbre postal con motivo del primer aniversario del Tren Maya y se anunció el inicio del tren de carga para fortalecer el traslado de mercancías a lo largo del sureste mexicano.
