Está claro que Red Bull ya no cuenta con Sergio Pérez para la temporada de Fórmula 1 2025, pero tendrá que arreglar su salida ya que cuentan con contrato por dos años más.
El desplome del piloto mexicano después del primer cuarto de la campaña, donde pasó del segundo al octavo lugar en las posiciones, le costó a la escudería el título de constructores, donde ocuparon la tercera plaza tras el campeón McLaren y Ferrari.

Helmut Marko, asesor de Red Bull Racing, ya declararon que se busca un arreglo para una buena salida de Checo Pérez, pero debe ser de mutuo acuerdo.
El director del equipo, Christian Horner, ha sugerido que todo depende de Sergio Pérez, pero no confirma su continuidad. Ahora es Diego Mejía, de Fox Sports, quien informa sobre el futuro del mexicano.
“Habrá que esperar a que se emitan los comunicados especiales, pero el sentir es bastante claro… él siente que dio absolutamente todo. Recalcó que esto es un deporte de equipo, que el entorno es muy importante y que el Checo que hemos visto ganar carreras no ha desaparecido.

“No sabemos si lo veremos en la parrilla el próximo año, es probable que no… ¿si es el final de su carrera? No lo creo. Al final, si Red Bull anuncia que no es de ninguna forma posible la continuidad con Checo, bajo ningún tipo de rol, hay opciones para Checo, lo conozco de buena fuente, que hay conversaciones para que, si no es Red Bull, vuelva a estar en la parrilla de la Fórmula 1“, explica el analista.

Luego de terminar el año con un nuevo abandono en el Gran Premio de Abu Dhabi, Checo Pérez está próximo a conocer su futuro en la F1.
Tanto Horner como Marko han dejado claro que todo se definirá tras esta última carrera y la decisión final de Red Bull podría darse en los próximos días.
