Meghan and Harry part company with SIX more staff after hiring firm behind Duchess’s infamous twerking video to boost their profile
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have parted ways with six more members of their team as their PR machine undergoes another dramatic shake-up just weeks after enlisting the agency behind the Duchess’s cringe-worthy twerking video.
The latest departures from Team Sussex include Kyle Boulia, their Los Angeles-based deputy press secretary, and Charlie Gipson, who had been serving as the couple’s European communications director.
Lianne Cashin, formerly head of operations at their Archewell Foundation, has also exited – just a month after a spokesperson described her as ‘exceptional’ and said she embodied the ‘strength and vision’ of the Duke and Duchess.
They’re not alone. Deesha Tank, Archewell’s director of communications, a personal assistant, and Meghan’s social media manager have all reportedly gone too.
The mass exodus comes in the wake of Prince Harry’s eyebrow-raising BBC interview, where he launched a fresh attack on his father King Charles and complained of an ‘establishment stitch-up’ after losing his legal battle over taxpayer-funded police protection in the UK.
Sources say the interview didn’t go down well behind Palace gates.

The social media manager is said to have departed before Meghan released her now-infamous ‘twerking’ video
But insiders claim the writing was already on the wall for some team members following January’s damning Vanity Fair exposé, which alleged that several staffers were left needing ‘long-term therapy’ or took extended breaks after working with Meghan.
Prince Harry, meanwhile, was painted as a lonely figure who has failed to make friends across the pond.
‘Something tells me there will be another change in the future,’ says a source familiar with the couple’s approach told Hello! Magazine.
‘Meghan and Harry have hired some of the most incredible people at the top of their fields, yet somehow none of them ever work out.’
According to Deadline since stepping back from royal duties at least 22 people have left their team, with six in the last two months.
The social media manager is said to have departed before Meghan released her now-infamous ‘twerking’ video, which showed the royal couple dancing in a hospital delivery room while waiting for the birth of their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
The clip, which dropped on the Duchess’s Instagram earlier this month, caused a stir online – with viewers torn between laughter and disbelief.
The couple have since hired Method Communications, a slick US-based PR firm, in an effort to revamp their public image – a move widely seen as a sign they were unhappy with their previous media strategy.
Joining their rapidly expanding comms empire is Emily Robinson, a former Netflix publicity director who worked on hit shows like The Crown.
Meghan has also brought on Sarah Fosmo, who previously worked for Bill Gates, as her first chief of staff, while Harry has promoted long-time aide Miranda Barbot to the same role on his side.
Overseeing the overhaul is Meredith Maines, appointed in February as the couple’s first-ever chief communications officer.

The Duchess, meanwhile, is focusing on growing her As Ever lifestyle brand, although her messaging has appeared inconsistent in recent weeks
She confirmed the exit of Mr Boulia and Mr Gipson after barely a year in post, saying: ‘As the Duke and Duchess’s business and philanthropic interests grow, I have made the strategic decision to move toward a more traditional communications structure of specialist agency support.
‘Transitioning from a team of two to an agency support staff of eight, operating across five different time zones, will give international media and stakeholders better access, and critically, faster response times to enquiries.’
The Duchess, meanwhile, is focusing on growing her As Ever lifestyle brand, although her messaging has appeared inconsistent in recent weeks.
She told Fast Company magazine that she wasn’t planning to launch new products until early 2026, saying on her podcast she was pressing ‘pause’ until the business was ‘completely stable’.
But in a surprise move, she took to Instagram days later to tease that fans’ ‘favourite’ items would be returning this month – along with ‘a few new things’ she ‘can’t wait to show off.’
