La celebración tuvo lugar el sábado 8 de junio en el Nuevo Teatro Libanés, en Ciudad de México, al terminar la función de la obra La ternura, que el actor protagoniza.

Al homenaje asistieron los actores Angelique Boyer y Sebastián Rulli, colegas de escena de Bethke en la serie de ViX El extraño retorno de Diana Salazar.
Arap Bethke tiene en su haber más de 15 películas y 25 producciones (series y telenovelas) para televisión y plataformas digitales. Su versatilidad y dedicación le han valido premios y reconocimientos, que destacan su capacidad para interpretar una amplia gama de personajes.

Su rol protagónico en Buscando a Frida le valió un premio Emmy internacional.
Recientemente actuó en las películas Guadalupe Reyes y Sin Origen, que se pueden ver en Amazon Prime. También protagonizó Permitidos y Mal de Ojo, que estuvo entre las más taquilleras en México.
Amante del teatro, el actor nacido en Nairobi, Kenia y criado en México, ha trabajado en más de 10 proyectos en las tablas. Su destacado trabajo en cine, televisión y teatro le ha otorgado diversos premios y reconocimientos. Ha sido el rostro de marcas internacionales para campañas publicitarias, además de presentar múltiples programas de televisión y entregas de premios.
Arap Bethke presenta un travel show por History Channel. ¿Y Tú, Tú Qué Vas a Hacer? es una serie de corte docureality que promueve el turismo en Guanajuato, México y el estilo de vida sostenible. El programa ganó el premio a la mejor serie documental de turismo en FITUR 2024, feria internacional de turismo celebrada en Madrid, España.
