Freddy Brazier has shared a heartbreaking message about his late mother Jade Goody — a quiet, emotional cry that has deeply moved fans, arriving at one of the most turbulent moments of his young life.

The 21-year-old, who is expecting his first child with pregnant girlfriend Holly Swinburn, 22, posted a childhood photo of himself to Instagram alongside devastating words filled with longing:
“Wish I could go back to this age and have my mum back with a finger click.”
This week, Freddy, who is set to become a father for the first time aged 21, launched a furious riposte to his pregnant girlfriend Holly Swinburn, after she publicly accused him of engaging in drug-fuelled parties with other girls – and lambasted his dad Jeff for supporting her
Jade tragically died in 2009 after a battle with cervical cancer, leaving behind Freddy and his older brother Bobby, now 22. For years, both sons have spoken openly about the pain of losing their mother — but this latest post feels heavier than ever, arriving as Freddy stands on the edge of fatherhood while his personal life unravels publicly.
Behind the tender tribute lies a storm.

Earlier this week, Freddy became locked in a bitter public battle with his pregnant girlfriend after she accused him of hosting drug-fuelled parties with other girls. She also publicly criticised his father, Jeff Brazier, for allegedly supporting her during the fallout.
Holly spoke out at the weekend, describing life with Freddy as “a nightmare” and saying she now wants to focus on raising their child alone.
Responding to the claims — which were made in a tabloid interview for a reported fee of around £5,000 — Freddy hit back furiously, branding the accusations as lies.
“It’s sick,” he raged.
Holly alleged their relationship broke down after Freddy threw a party at her flat while she was away with her family. She also claimed he failed to properly care for her dog, Pablo, which he bought her as a gift earlier this year.
But Freddy strongly denied the most damaging allegations, insisting there was no wild party.
“No orgy has been had in our flat,” he allegedly told friends.
“It wasn’t some drug party either. We had a spliff and that’s it — then I told everyone it was time to go.”
He added that one of his friends had accidentally left their ID behind, which he believes fuelled Holly’s suspicions.
“She seems to think there was something deeper going on. But there wasn’t,” he said.
Freddy is now said to be terrified that the public fallout could damage both his career and his future bond with his unborn child.
“The things she’s saying could cost me work and could damage my relationship with my child when they’re born,” he reportedly told friends.
The conflict has also reignited painful family tensions, particularly with his father Jeff. Holly claimed the This Morning parenting expert had been checking in on her daily since the split — something that left Freddy furious.
“I don’t like that Dad is apparently taking Holly’s side,” he said.
Freddy has previously faced concerns over cannabis use, which once led to a dramatic intervention by his father. At one point, Jeff even attempted to legally block Freddy from seeing his maternal grandmother, Jackiey Budden, after it emerged they had been smoking together at her flat.
Holly has also spoken critically about Jackiey’s influence, claiming:
“I stayed with Freddy for the sake of the baby, but it got too much. I think he is influenced by his nan. I think she gets jealous of a lot of Freddy’s relationships, including mine, and lashes out.”
Freddy, however, insists he has been trying to quit cannabis entirely — but admits the turmoil surrounding his relationship has made that struggle far harder.
Sixteen years on from Jade’s death, her family continues to live under the shadow of grief, controversy and unresolved pain. Earlier in 2025, it was revealed that Jeff had submitted a court claim in a bid to keep Jackiey out of Freddy’s life, believing she was a negative influence. The move caused a bitter rift between father and son — though they later reconciled briefly when Freddy turned to Jeff for support ahead of becoming a father.
Now, as Freddy prepares to welcome a child into the world without the mother he so desperately longs for, his simple message has struck a raw nerve with the public:
“Wish I could have my mum back.”
A quiet sentence — carrying a lifetime of absence.
