Former One Direction star Liam Payne’s heartbroken girlfriend Kate Cassidy has revealed two more tattoo tributes to the late singer as she slowly makes a return to work

Kate Cassidy has revealed two more tributes to her late boyfriend Liam Payne as she makes a return to social media.

The influencer took a three-month break from her online life following the tragic death of her boyfriend. Liam died at the age of 31 following a fall from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October last year. Kate, who had been in a relationship with the late singer since 2022, had been with Liam in the country just days before his death.

Paying tribute to her late boyfriend in a heartfelt social media post, Kate revealed they had been hoping to take their relationship to the next level and shared how ‘444’ had been “angel numbers” for them. Kate has now decided to make a slow return to work as she posted a video to TikTok where she showed her “simple day”.

In the video, Kate did her makeup and got ready as fans noticed a pair of tributes to Liam. She has ‘LP’ inked on her wrist as well as a tattoo of ‘444’ on her hands. Kate also lit a ‘444’ candle in the video. Over Christmas, Kate reunited with their dog Nala as she revealed her first tattoo in tribute to Liam.

She has two angel wings inked on her fingers and shared a photo of her tattoo while cuddling Nala. As the caption of the post, Kate simply put a red heart emoji. Kate paid tribute to her late partner just days after his death. She wrote in a statement: “Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way. I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real.

“I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private. Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.” She later told fans that Liam had planned to propose to her within the next year.

Kate shared: “Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into. […] You had the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit. It feels like I’ve lost the best part of myself. I can’t imagine a day without your laughter and love. You brought so much light into my life.

“A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together. I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it. It said ‘Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444.’ Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel.”

On her Instagram she said: “More often, you will see the number 444 when you are feeling down. In simple sense, the number 444 reminds you that your angels are always there to support you. When you see this number you will be reassured that you are protected and loved by the angels.”
