The pro’s time on the show was cut short after an accident
DANCING On Ice pro Yebin Mok hinted that she was not told about the show’s axing in a tribute message.
The Sun revealed yesterday that the ITV skating competition would not be returning next year – the first time since 2006.

Professional skater Yebin, 40, competed on the show with Olympic skier Graham Bell on series 14 in 2021.
The American performer said she was thankful for the experience – despite her stint on the show being cut short due to an injury.
Yebin shared a video montage from her time on the show – including photos of her Grahame and other pro skaters.
She also dropped a hint that she was not told about the axing before it was announced publicly.
Yebin captioned it: “Just seen the news that Dancing On Ice won’t be returning next season.
“Feeling incredibly grateful I got the chance to skate as a pro—even after becoming a mum! Never thought that would be possible.
“Leaving my little one for five months was a huge family decision, and it’s why we never planned on doing multiple seasons.”
She went on to say: “It definitely takes a toll on family life, but I’m so thankful for my loving hubby and in-laws who supported me through it all. Truly blessed to have had the experience!”
Yebin danced with athlete Graham Bell.

They were due to feature in the first episode on but was forced to miss their debut after an accident caused Yebin to pull out.
Karina Mantras took over as his partner in week two but Graham was sent packing in week three.
Yebin added: “And to my one and only celeb partner Graham Bell although the season didn’t go as we hoped, my time teaching him was so much fun.
“He has the athletic drive and focus which made it so worth while for me.
“Here’s to hoping ITV brings it back maybe few years time so future skaters & pros can enjoy this unique pro experience!
“And I know it has inspired so many new skaters to try skating.”
The axing comes after ratings dwindled for this year’s series, which was won by Corrie’s Sam Aston last month.
An ITV Spokesperson said: “Following another successful series earlier this year, Dancing On Ice will be rested in 2026 with no current plans for another series.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the cast and crew who have worked on the show since 2006, and over the previous 17 series, for all of their hard work both on and off the ice.”
The move leaves host Holly Willoughby with no work on the channel for the first time in 21 years.
Last week The Sun reported that the show’s set is being dismantled and being put into long-term storage fuelling speculation the show is set to be axed.
We exclusively revealed morale behind the scenes is low and many associated with the show are calling the move the “final nail in the coffin”.
A source said: “The staff have been told that the set is going into long-term storage and everyone thinks this is the final nail in the coffin.
“Nobody’s heard anything about the show next year and casting for the show usually starts next month, with the cast confirmed in June.
“At this stage bosses are normally approaching celebs and auditioning them – but there’s nothing, and with the set being dismantled, this can’t be a good sign.”
