LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Romy Reiner was seen for the first time after the tragic death of her parents – Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner – as she marked her 28th birthday at a somber beach gathering.

She was snapped standing outside a beach house with her loved ones on Saturday, December 27, according to photographs obtained by the Daily Mail.

Romy Reiner has been staying in the beach house since her parents’ death

As per the pictures taken by the Daily Mail, Romy’s boyfriend, Alex Silberberg, was also seen walking a dog on the beach. The outlet reported that the couple has been staying at a beach house since Rob and Michele Reiner were killed at their Brentwood home on December 14.

Sources told the New York Post that Romy, who lived across the street from her famous parents, was the one who discovered her parents’ bodies. Their death certificates revealed they passed away shortly after they were stabbed multiple times.

Meanwhile, Romy reportedly informed law enforcement officers that her brother, Nick Reiner, should be a suspect in her parents’ killing. Nick was arrested shortly after and was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, and is currently being held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility and will be arraigned on January 7.

An insider revealed to the New York Post that Nick and Rob Reiner had gotten into an argument at the bash, and the latter was ‘scared’ for his son and his ‘deteriorating’ mental state.

Rob Reiner’s Brentwood home had long history of police calls

Police records show that officers repeatedly responded to Rob and Michelle Reiner’s Brentwood home in the years leading up to the family tragedy. The records reveal many serious calls for service between 2013 and December 14, 2025, the day they were found dead at their home.

As per records obtained by the Daily Mail, police were called to the Reiners’ $13.5 million Brentwood mansion at least six times over more than a decade. The calls involved a range of issues, including alleged family violence, welfare checks, and mental health evaluations.

Moreover, earlier records include other welfare checks, such as one on August 4, 2013, which was listed simply as ‘door’, confirming police presence but providing few details.

Similarly, even minor disturbances appeared in the logs, like a noise complaint on February 2, 2014, described as a ‘party’, which officers found had ended before they arrived.

Meanwhile, the police logs also showed a pattern of ongoing concerns rather than isolated incidents. A serious call occurred on May 5, 2017, when officers responded to a report coded ‘BFV INVEST’, indicating a family violence investigation.

Some sources revealed that these records show authorities were aware of potential domestic issues years before the fatal deaths.
