TalkTV presenter Kevin O’Sullivan ripped into Prince Harry after he recently slammed a claim that he is “not a working royal” during an interview. The Duke of Sussex, 41, also defended his royal status, saying that he will always be a member of the British Royal Family, six years after he left the UK. Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down as working royals in 2020.

At the end of a two-day visit to Ukraine, the Duke of Sussex spoke with ITV News, where he discussed he and Meghan’s recent trips to Australia and Jordan. “No. I will always be part of the royal family,” he told Royal Editor Chris Ship. “I am here working doing the things that I was born to do.”

Harry even doubled down on his statement—“I enjoy doing it. I enjoy coming to do these trips and supporting that … the friends that I’ve made, and hopefully, bringing attention to issues that, for one reason or another, drop out of the news because something else has popped up,” he added. Joined by royal commentator, Kinsey Schofield, on Monday’s edition of TalkTV, the show’s host argued King Charles needs to step in and give Harry a wake up call by removing his titles – which would be bad news for Meghan.

Kevin commented: “I mean the King… he’s not a strong man. And he hates confrontation.

“I think he should say to Harry, ‘Listen, one more speech like that. You do that one more time and you are no longer the Duke of Sussex. You are no longer Prince Harry. If you don’t believe me, see what I did to Andrew.”

He continued: “I will reduce you to a commoner. So, don’t do that again.”

The TalkTV host, however, went on to suggest that it is unlikely the King would go ahead with removing Harry’s title.

“Has the [King] got the guts to do that? Frankly, I doubt it,” Kevin concluded.

The Duke of Sussex recently traveled to Ukraine, where he delivered a strongly worded speech in support of the country.

His visit came just days before King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived in the United States for a high-profile diplomatic trip hosted by US President Donald Trump.
