The 52-year-old DJ shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, announcing that he had proposed to girlfriend Caroline during a romantic New Year getaway in Mallorca.

Posting a loved-up snap, Caroline proudly displayed her sparkling diamond ring while Eddie captioned the moment:
“We did something yesterday 1.1.2026 
” followed by a ring emoji and the hashtag Mallorca.
It comes after Eddie went Instagram official with Caroline in 2023 (seen) and claimed he is the ‘happiest he’s ever been’
Friends and followers were quick to flood the comments section with congratulatory messages, including Vanessa Feltz’s former fiancé Ben Ofoedu, who wrote:
“Congratulations bro .”
Another pal added: “Ahh fab news — what a stunning ring. Congratulations to you both!”
Denise ended her seven-year relationship with commodities trader Eddie in January 2022 after discovering unfaithful messages and went on to find love with Jimmy Barba, however, the couple split in late 2023 after a whirlwind 18-month romance (pictured 2022)
The announcement comes after Eddie first went Instagram-official with Caroline in 2023, declaring he was the “happiest he’s ever been.” At the time, he shared a cosy snap cuddling up to the blonde personal trainer, confirming their romance publicly for the first time.
Eddie previously dated actress and TV favourite Denise Van Outen, 51, for seven years. Their relationship came to a dramatic end in January 2022 after Denise discovered unfaithful messages.
Following the split, Denise went on to find love with Jimmy Barba, but their whirlwind romance ended in late 2023 after 18 months together, with both parties confirming the separation.
When Eddie debuted his new partner online, fans were quick to comment on the striking similarities between Caroline and Denise. One follower wrote:
“Anyone going to state the obvious?”
Eddie replied: “Yeah I’m the happiest I’ve ever been… well spotted!”
Speaking to DailyMail in 2023 about the breakup, Eddie admitted:

At the time, Eddie posted a black-and-white image of Inspector Clouseau — the famously inept fictional detective — leading many to believe he was mocking Denise’s discovery of the messages.
