Pat McAfee denied the rumors that suggested Aaron Rodgers would announce he was signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers during an event organized by his show on April 9th in that city.

“That’s crazy. That is hilarious to think about. I do appreciate that people think that is what is possible though for like Big Night. If we are still around and a decision is made, then I would like to let Aaron know that it’s certainly an opportunity for you. That would be a great start for the entire thing. It is an option for you Mr. Rodgers.”

Aaron has been a frequent guest on The Pat McAfee Show and even announced live last year the arrival of Davante Adams to the Jets. Now, the former Super Bowl champion is deciding between the Steelers and the Vikings.

Will Aaron Rodgers sign with Steelers?

Aaron Rodgers could sign with Steelers as Pittsburgh has already made an offer for the quarterback. It all depends on whether the player accepts, although no one knows when that will happen.

Given this scenario, with all the rumors sparked on social media by the April 9th event (Big Night Out), Pat McAfee joked about the entire situation with a lot of sarcasm.

“Yeah, guy’s gonna sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Big Night Out. Yeah, we actually scheduled it in advance. He’s leaving everybody in the dark until Big Night Out. You caught us.”
