The Ravens cleaned out their lockers hours after the 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional round of the AFC playoffs, and emotions are still raw. A team with Super Bowl aspirations still has star power at key positions but will look different after free agency and the 2025 NFL draft.

General manager Eric DeCosta and head coach John Harbaugh will decide who stays and who goes.

According to Over The Cap, the Ravens will have 23 players test some free agency, with 19 players set to hit the open market, not including a potential Justin Tucker dismissal.

With Baltimore proceeding through the early portion of the off-season, we’re looking at what the Ravens could potentially lose.

WR Diontae Johnson –UFA

Johnson will be an unrestricted free agent this spring. He’ll be remembered for refusing to enter a game against the Eagles, getting waived multiple times, and ending up back with Baltimore as a claim to close out a disastrous last calendar year.

OL Ronnie Stanley — Void

.

.
Stanley restructured his contract during the off-season and will enter Free agency, having redeemed himself as one of the NFL’s top left tackles.

Stanley signed a five-year, $98.75 million contract extension with the Ravens in 2020, with $64.166 million fully guaranteed. In 2024, Stanley reworked his contract, accepting a $7.5 million pay cut, guaranteed at $6 million.

The 30-year-old Stanley will enter Free agency, having redeemed himself as one of the NFL’s top left tackles. Stanley had a 71.0 grade from PFF (40th), and his 79.6 pass-blocking grade was good for 21st among all NFL tackles.

DB Marcus Williams — Void

Williams was a healthy scratch down the stretch and only played in 11 games, logging 33 tackles, one tackle for loss, and two passes defended. William’s 42.9 PFF grade was 160th out of 170 defensive backs in the NFL.

CB Brandon Stephens –UFA

The 28-year-old cornerback was an early-season candidate for a contract extension, but he struggled in coverage this season and was a liability down the stretch. According to PFF, Stephens’ 55.8 coverage grade was 153rd out of 223 cornerbacks in the NFL this season. His 107.4 passer rating was 56th in the NFL.

OL Patrick Mekari — UFA

The veteran fullback played about 40 percent of the snaps this season, and with Baltimore in a salary cap crunch, Ricard’s status in free agency will be something to watch.

TE Qadir Ismail –SFA

.

.
The son of former Ravens wide receiver Qadry Ismail had an impressive summer as an undrafted rookie from Samford. He was invited for a tryout at minicamp and did well enough to be signed to the 90-man roster at the start of Organized Team Activities. Ismail, who was signed to the Ravens’ practice squad in August, has been placed on injured reserve.

In late July, the 6-foot-6 Ismail switched from wide receiver to tight end and continued to make plays, earning a spot on the team. He could get a reserve/futures deal.
