His album It’s Time scored a nomination for Best Traditional Vocal Pop Album at the 2006 Grammys, and his live album released later in 2005, Caught In the Act, got the same nomination in the 2007 Grammys.

With his album Call Me Irresponsible, he took home the Best Traditional Vocal Pop Album at the 2008 Grammys, where he was also nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for the song “Everything.”

In 2010, he won Best Traditional Vocal Pop Album again, for his 2009 live album Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden, and in 2011, he took home the same prize for the third time, for his album Crazy Love, released late 2009. “Haven’t Met You Yet,” his breakout original single, also got a nomination for Male Pop Vocal Performance.

His bestselling holiday album, Christmas, came out in 2011 and got a nomination for Best Traditional Vocal Pop Album at the 2013 Grammys. Later in 2013, he released To Be Loved, which scored him his fourth Best Traditional Vocal Pop Album in 2014. His 2016 album Nobody But Me (Deluxe Version) got another nomination in the same category at the 2018 Grammys, as did 2018’s Love (Deluxe Edition) at the 2020 Grammys.

In 2023, he took home the prize for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for his 2022 album Higher.

How Michael Bublé found his signature music style

In a 2024 compilation clip from The Voice Season 26, Bublé opened up about following his idols into traditional pop.

“Through emulating and copying my favorite artists I found myself,” he recalled, explaining, “I was as into the Beastie Boys and to Michael Jackson as I was into Dean Martin or Bobby Darin…So naturally I took some of the things that I loved about modern music and infused them with my love of American songbook or jazz. Thankfully, people accepted it and it worked.”

Michael Bublé joked about trading his Grammy Awards

While Bublé has been dedicated to music since he was young and can expertly impersonate his idols like Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, he’s also a big sports fan. For starters, he loves hockey so much he has an ice rink in his basement. And he’s really competitive when it comes his fantasy football leagues.

“My wife will say to me all the time, ‘It’s not real.’ And I will say, ‘You don’t know what’s real!'” Bublé said in a 2024 interview on The Rich Eisen Show before he jokingly revealed the lengths he’d go to score a fantasy football league championship. “You know those Grammys you were talking about? Have ’em. Take ’em. Give me the PopJazzers Fantasy Football championship,” Bublé told the sports commentator.

As he proudly shared on Instagram in 2021, Bublé has won the PopJazzers Fantasy Football championship before and just wants that thrill again. “Give me that trophy,” he said his bit his fist on The Rich Eisen Show.

Bublé, of course, treasures his Grammys and the recognition. In 2023, after Bublé received his Grammy trophy in the mail, he opened the package in a video on Instagram to experience the moment with his fans. “As I open it, rip it open, I just want to say thank you so much,” he said. “I mean, it’s not all about winning…but sometimes it feels really good! And thank you to the Academy.”

“I love what I do, who I do it with, and mostly, who I do it for,” he captioned the video. “Thank you for supporting a small town Canadian kid who lives out his dreams everyday.”
