Patricia Sue Goodall, also referred to as Sue, was the wife of Richard Goodall. Patricia, who was born on April 2, 1947, was a committed and encouraging spouse for the duration of their over thirty-year union.
Patricia unfortunately lost her life to renal cancer. Her kidney had to be removed at the start of the sickness, but regrettably, the cancer spread throughout her body and caused excruciating suffering.
Richard continued to draw strength and inspiration from Patricia despite her battle. After Richard posted a touching tribute to her on social media, allowing for the influence she had on his life and their intense love after the sad demise of his wife. He said,
“I’m so sorry. I did my best but my best wasn’t good enough. Cancer is like getting punched in the gut. Falling to the ground. Then told to get back up and start all over. #cancer-caregiver”

After becoming famous, his life completely changed. “I’ve signed so many tennis shoes, so many cell phone cases, and taken so many selfies,” Goodall said, noting how the students have been enjoying his newfound celebrity status. “The kids are just eating it up. They love it. Just an overwhelming beautiful, wonderful response.” Richard said.
In a recent interview, Richard Goodall also shared that if he wins the $1 million from AGT, he dreams of buying a double-wide mobile home and moving to Florida. He compared his performance to Susan Boyle’s, noting her global success despite staying in her original home. Goodall expressed he has no expectations beyond delivering his best performance. He also mentioned that while his fiancée Angie hopes for something better than a double-wide, he is focused on giving his all on stage.
