Snoop Dogg’s charm has done it again!

On Monday, Oct. 7, Nashville duo MisterMoon shocked viewers on The Voice when they chose the rapper over Reba McEntire as their coach.

Before their audition to Kacey Musgraves’ “Deeper Well,” which received chair turns by Snoop and McEntire, the duo said they wanted the “I’m a Survivor” singer as their coach — which is what made their game-time decision that much more of a surprise.

“Y’alls music makes me feel happy, light. I love it so much. When I was on tour with Kelly Clarkson, when she’d sing her song, I’d sing harmony. When I’d sing my song, she’d sing harmony with me because both of us, we’d rather sing harmony than sing lead anytime,” McEntire, 69, told the duo, which consists of Savs and Lea.

She continued, “So with your harmonies being so good, I would love to get to work with you so I can just sit there and listen to ya’ll all day long.”

When it was Snoop’s turn to talk, he asked if their performance was considered “bluegrass.”

“We like to think of it as folk-pop,” they responded.

“OK because I got some green grass and I was trying to figure out how we can make it come together. Mix and match,” Snoop, 52, joked. “To be real, I love you ladies’ sisterhood. I love to see you working together like this. I would love to have you all on my team.”

After taking a “brief moment” to chat to themselves, the duo said, “it’s an honor to sing in front of you — but we’ve decided Snoop.”

In an interview after the decision, Snoop raved about his new additions.

“MisterMoon, when I heard the first notes I was like wow this is dope,” the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper said. “But really I love the fact that they sounded like they belong together.”

Meanwhile, McEntire expressed good sportsmanship.

“You fall in love with Snoop so much you don’t mind losing to him,” she said. “That’s terrible — I gotta get out of that. I gotta snap out of it.”
