In a series of Instagram Stories, Statler revealed a huge update about their feud, announcing that Dempsey finally returned her stuffed animals. The 90 Day Fiancé star first posted a video that showed a paper bag on her front porch. She thanked her Instagram followers for “demanding she bring them back–it worked!” Statler then thanked the post office employees for not letting the items “separate or fall out,” despite the paper bag not being “very good.” That last comment was clearly a dig at Dempsey for the way she packaged the stuffed animals to mail out.

In the video, Statler zoomed in on the packaging to show her followers that one end of the bag was completely open, with one of the stuffed animals’ legs poking out. She brought the package in and ripped it open to reveal that both of her stuffed animals had been mailed back to her. The video ended with Statler partly off-screen embracing the stuffed animals and saying, “I’m sorry” to them.

The second Instagram Story featured a selfie of Statler holding the two stuffed animals. In her caption, she clarified that she didn’t “abandon” the toys. At the time, she had packed one suitcase with the assumption that she’d be “going back to the van.” Statler’s final Instagram Story showed another selfie with the stuffed animals, which she called “my sweet boys,” Elroy and Wish.
