Reddit user CrystalLion90 posted a picture of Sarper after the latter was spotted in Monterey, California.

They revealed that their tattoo artist, who had just moved to California, posted the picture originally on Sunday, September 8, 2024. The picture showed Sarper looking clueless while he walked around the neighborhood. He wore a white mesh t-shirt with a beige shirt over it and his hair was perfectly coiffed in its usual way. Sarper being in the U.S. has come as a surprise to fans because of his recent abusive storyline with Shekinah on The Other Way.

Shekinah and Sarper have had quite a few fights on The Other Way through their two seasons, but the most recent one had taken a violent turn. Shekinah claimed that the fight was different from the ones they had in the past because he snatched her phone out of her hand and also ripped out her hair extensions. Shekinah moved into a hotel and wasn’t sure if she wanted to see Sarper again.

While Sarper later apologized to Shekinah and admitted that he hated himself for how he had treated her, Shekinah saw this side of Sarper as a red flag.
