Faith told the cameras about how the Philippines was a very poor country compared to the U.S. which had a lot of opportunities for a person to earn money. She imaged that her and Loren would make a successful life together if she moved to the U.S.

In episode 4, Loren came clean about being homeless to Faith. He revealed he planned on relocating to the Philippines and doing a remote job.

He said he could do pest control, sell fast food, or drive a truck even though he was told it would be difficult for him to find a job as a foreigner.

Faith told him she didn’t mind him not having money because he accepted her for who she was. However, Faith did not know that Loren was hiding an even bigger secret from her. Faith thought Loren was her boyfriend, while he was sleeping with other people and staying at their houses because he was homeless.
