90 Day Fiance montage of Angela Deem yelling with Kobe Blaise behind her

Kobe Blaise has helped Michael Ilesanmi realize his worth and escape Angela Deem, and hopefully, they’ll continue to be friends even after 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8. Kobe didn’t leave the best impression on me when I first saw him in 90 Day Fiancé season 9. I felt he was disrespectful for talking about his wife, Emily Bieberly’s size, knowing she was on a postpartum journey. Surprisingly, Kobe won me over when he married Emily. He started working full-time and became a family man, showing a sense of maturity and responsibility most women expect from their husbands.

In 2024, Kobe became my favorite cast member when he remarried Emily in Cameroon. He defended her honor in front of his friends but never disrespected his culture for his wife’s feelings. I was surprised to see how well Kobe handled his trip to Cameroon with Emily without alienating his friends. He showcased his honest nature when he joined 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 Tell All. I was so excited to see him defend Michael and inspire him to improve his life. I was also ecstatic to watch him confront Angela.

Kobe Has Always Been Supportive Of Michael

Kobe Could Really Boost Michael’s Confidence

Kobe’s level-headed personality and supportive nature have made me realize that he should continue to stay friends with Michael, who needs someone to boost his confidence. Both men are African immigrants who came to the United States to stay with their American wives.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now

They both grew up in neighboring countries, so they have more in common than people think. Michael needs all his support due to his breakup with Angela. I feel Kobe could be the guy who can help Michael find a new job and assist with his legal paperwork.

Kobe Stood Up For Michael Against Angela

I also believe Kobe should maintain his friendship with Michael because he’s the only one who has successfully defended him against Angela.

Many cast members attempted to support Michael throughout the years, only to back down and walk away from Angela. In contrast, Kobe stood up for his Nigerian friend and engaged in a verbal argument with his wife. He proved why Michael deserved better and exposed Angela for her toxic behavior. I feel Kobe should continue to help Michael in his conflict with Angela, supporting him in court and helping him win his case.

Are Kobe & Michael Living Together?

Kobe Motivated Michael To Reclaim His Freedom

Recently, Kobe appeared in an interview with Pink Shade and dismissed the speculation that he hid Michael in his house. While Kobe didn’t provide shelter to Michael, I believe he did inspire him to reclaim his life. However, Kobe may not be able to support Michael as much because he’s too busy with his life. With three kids, Kobe can’t actively support Michael, although he can emotionally uplift him ahead of his court case with Angela. Seeing Kobe and Michael’s brotherly bond was one of the highlights of my experience watching 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8.
