Karoline Leavitt, the youngest press secretary in White House history, is once again facing scrutiny.

This time, it’s not for her political statements, but for her appearance. A recent photo from a White House press briefing circulated on social media, prompting speculation that Leavitt has had plastic surgery or filler to enhance her facial features. Others are accusing her face of being ‘permanently’ frozen, which is a common side effect of a poorly done cosmetic surgery.

Leavitt, 27, has a background in political communications. She interned at the White House during Trump’s first term and later served as an assistant press secretary.

After the 2020 election, she became communications director for Rep. Elise Stefanik before running for Congress in New Hampshire’s 1st District in 2022.

Although she won the Republican primary, she lost the general election to Democrat Chris Pappas.

In 2024, Leavitt served as the national press secretary for Trump’s campaign and was appointed White House press secretary following his re-election.

Known for her assertive communication style, she has been a prominent figure in the administration.

Leavitt’s personal life has also garnered attention. She married 59-year-old real estate developer Nicholas Riccio in January 2025.

The couple has a son, born in July 2024. Leavitt returned to work shortly after his birth, demonstrating her commitment to her role.
