Texas — Funeral services are set for the father and daughter who were killed in a shooting outside a car wash in Forest Hill earlier this month.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 20, for Ronnie “Lil Ronnie” Sibley, also known as G$ Lil Ronnie, and his 5-year-old daughter, R’mani Sibley. The service will be at 11 a.m. at Great Commission Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Those who would like to pay their respects to the family can visit The Ruby Chapel at Tree of Life in Fort Worth on Wednesday, March 19, from noon to 8 p.m.
On March 3, the 35-year-old Fort Worth rapper was vacuuming his vehicle at Slappy’s Car Wash at 6500 Forest Hill Drive when police say the two men opened fire and chased him.
Sibley’s daughter was in the car when at least three bullets went through the windshield, killing the Crowley ISD kindergartener. Police found her father a few feet away from the car. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
There is a growing memorial outside Slappy’s Car Wash dedicated to the victims.
