Rapper Snoop Dogg and his family are mourning the tragic loss of his infant grandson, Kai Love.

The baby unfortunately died on September 25 just 10 days after being born, he writes Dailymail, Telegrafi reports.

Snip Dogg’s son Corde Broadus made the announcement on social media with a touching video of his son wrapped in a hospital blanket on Thursday.

The video appeared to show his late son being separated from his mother in the neonatal intensive care unit, as the toddler, named Eleven, gave her brother a soft kiss.

Loved ones can be heard in the background choking back tears and talking sweetly to the deceased toddler and baby.

In the caption of the images shared with followers on Instagram, Corde wrote: “Kai Love 9/15/19 – 9/25/19.”

“My son Kai brought so much love and positivity into this world. His energy will live on and these 10 days of love will always be special to us,” he wrote.

“Let us cherish all life and those we love while we are here. Thank you, wrote the father of the baby, also the son of Snoop Dogg.

Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., has not commented on the death, but his wife Shante addressed the tragedy on social media. /Telegraph/

The family has not publicly stated the cause of Kai’s death.
