ver since news broke that Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, prematurely gave birth to his 8th grandchild at just 25 weeks old, fans have been waiting for news on the little girl’s health.

Snoop’s granddaughter arrived 15 weeks early on February 28, and she’s been in the neonatal intensive care unit ever since. Fortunately, in a brief conversation with E! News during the April 24th TIME100 Gala in New York City, the hip-hop legend gave fans a much needed update about his newest grandkid — and the Doggfather came bearing good news!
“That’s my baby, Tiny C,” Snoop said, referring to his daughter. “She just brought home my granddaughter.”
That’s right: the family’s little bundle of joy is healthy and finally home!

We can’t imagine the stress Snoop’s entire family has endured since the little one came into the world so early. When asked if he was planning anything for Mother’s Day coming up in just a few weeks, Snoop Dogg assured everyone that he was planning “something special” for the big occasion.
“Hopefully we’re gonna do something special,” he continued. “You know what we do, we spontaneous in my house. What we try to do is keep love in the air seven days a week. So, no matter if it’s Mother’s Day or not, we always got love in there.”
There’s plenty of reason to celebrate in the Snoop household. The star just revealed some exciting career news of his own!

The D-O-double-G is coming back for round two.
It’s official: earlier this week, it was revealed that Snoop Dogg would be returning to his Coach’s Chair for Season 28 of The Voice, setting the stage for the comeback of all comebacks!
After his Season 26 debut as a Coach, Snoop took a brief hiatus during Season 27, leaving fans eager for his potential comeback. Following his successful Coaching debut, Snoop shared that he was interested in potentially returning to the show.
“It’s been a great experience for me,” Snoop told Carson Daly. “I didn’t know what I was signing on to, but I do know it feels like I could come back and do it again.”
Snoop’s inaugural season was filled with so many highlights, including some unexpectedly emotional moments from the iconic rapper. We’re sure Season 28 will be just as entertaining!
