Sharon Osbourne’s friends are worried about her after Ozzy Osbourne’s sad death. The Black Sabbath star, who she described as her soul mate, died earlier this week at the age of 76 just days after he performed his final gig in Birmingham.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate Ozzy for hours before he was announced dead at the couple’s home. Now friends close to Sharon are worried about the “fragile” star following his sad passing.
“He was in so much pain, he had some very bad days. He knew for a while that he was on borrowed time really. He was so ill that, in that rock and roll tradition, he could have died on stage,” a source had said.

“There was no infection that we knew of. We all knew that he was going. In the end, he died peacefully at home with all the family with him. It’s a lovely house and Sharon wanted to bring him back from LA. I don’t know if she will feel strong enough to have a big memorial for all the people who want to say goodbye to him. We think she may want to bury him privately at home, in the garden.”
Concerned friends also expressed their fears for Sharon. “Sharon is very, very fragile.”
They said: “This is the heaviest blow. Ozzy was her life. The whole point of her life was him. They were each other’s best friend. We don’t know what she will do or how she will cope,” the insider told the Mail Online.

Last year, Ozzy heartbreakingly said he couldn’t live without his wife Sharon. In now even more poignant words, he said: “Sharon is like my soulmate — sometimes I love her, sometimes I don’t love her, sometimes I’m angry with her, sometimes I’m crazy about her, sometimes I’m very jealous of her, sometimes I wanna f***ng kill her. But through it all, at the end of the day, I love her more than anything in the world. Put it this way: I couldn’t live without her. I don’t wanna live without her.”
In a statement, the Osbourne family revealed the rocker died on Tuesday morning. They said: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
Last night, Sharon broke her social media silence following Ozzy’s death. She replied to a tribute shared by Gavin Rossdale, who wrote: “RIP OZZY – a great man -a true legend – I met Ozzy through Jack just a few times but he was so warm and kind and funny and i love that memory .sending much love to his family at this difficult time. Rest in power.” Sharon replied: “Bless you.”
