Meghan Markle has opened up about her motherhood fears – and people are all saying the same thing.

The Duchess of Sussex was snapped on the green carpet at the LA Children’s Hospital Gala over the weekend, where she stunned in a vibrant red Carolina Herrera dress with her hair in casual waves.

Speaking to reporters at the event, Meghan expressed admiration for the hospital’s work. She said: “The work that they do at Children’s Hospital LA is otherworldly. And I think from my standpoint as a mother, no one wants to have to be in a position where you need to go to a place like this.

“But if you have to, the best place in the world is the Children’s Hospital LA.”

Meghan went on to say she had “close friends,” including people she had known during her teenage years, whose children had been treated at the facility.

“The staff is incredible, and the amount of work that they do for families that really could not afford this level of care is something that I think should never be overlooked.”

People were quick to comment on the clip, and many were left making the same comments praising the duchess for both her beauty and her support of important causes. Taking to TikTok, one wrote: “She’s so beautiful. Love that she’s used that dress again but styled it differently.”

Meanwhile another added: “She’s such a genuinely bright light. Always advocating for the most amazing causes. Harry is a very lucky man.”

A third chimed in: “So articulate and hard working – shining light on great causes,” and a fourth agreed: “Shes [sic] one of a kind.”

At the annual event, which honours both patients and hospital staff, Meghan was also seen posing with nurses and some of the young people being treated at the hospital. One of these was Ella Nelson, who was diagnosed with stage four high-risk neuroblastoma – a type of cancer that forms in certain types of nerve tissue – at the age of two.

In an interview for the Chidren’s Hospital Association, Ella’s mum said: “It’s a pediatric kidney cancer. It’s considered a rare disease.”

After undergoing a series of intensive personalised treatments, Ella has now achieved No Evidence of Disease (NED) status and is living a happy, healthy life in California.
