SHOPPERS think they have spotted another embarrassing blow for under-fire chef Gino D’Acampo, as they find out Asda have slashed the prices of his air fryers.
The TV personality released his range of kitchenware and appliances with the supermarket chain in 2023, but customers have been left suspicious of the reason behind the recent price rollbacks.

Gino recently faced public scrutiny after multiple women made serious allegations against him, with ITV later giving him the sack.
The women claimed I’m A Celeb winner Gino had behaved in a “sexually inappropriate” and “intimidating” way towards them.
Bargain air fryers
TikTok user @legendlegend7201 uploaded a clip to the video-sharing platform, showing off a huge display of Gino’s air fryers slapped with a price rollback.
His 3L air fryer had been reduced from £48 to £19.48, while his dual 9L machine had been reduced from £89 to £38.30.
However, the reductions don’t appear to be available online yet.
Users in the comments raised their eyebrows at the price reduction, questioning whether it could be related to Gino’s recent controversy.

“Surprised they are selling them considering the scandal surrounding him,” said one user.
“Probably why they’re dropping the price, because no one will want them,” another replied.
“He got cancelled,” said someone else.
“Not anything to do with current ongoings with Mr dicampo [sic],” another wondered.

However, not everybody pinned the price reductions on the recent headlines surrounding Gino.
“They are on sale because not many people are buying them because they are not quality, so Asda is trying to get rid of the stock,” said one person.
“Discontinued lines, hope this helps,” added another.
“I work at Asda, people are buying them, I can assure you. Nobody cares, a bargains a bargain!” said someone else.
Fabulous reached out to Gino’s representatives for comment, who said: “The ASDA Roll Back on the D’Acampo air fryers are entirely unconnected to the allegations against Mr D’Acampo (which are firmly denied).
“The promotions are part of regular discounting processes across the company and its ‘Roll-back’ campaign, and not all D’Acampo products are subject to discounts. This was confirmed by ASDA to the Mirror.
“It is also worth noting that there is c.1060 ASDA stores in the United Kingdom (This includes a mix of larger supermarkets and smaller convenience stores, such as the Asda Express brand). There are significant logistics and planning involved when conducting any sort of “Roll-back” campaign and takes c. 6 months to organise. Clearly the discounts of any products, including the D’Acampo products, were planned many months in advance.”
Speaking to the Mirror when Gino’s range was first discounted in February, an Asda spokesperson said: “We relaunched Rollback in January which immediately reduced the price of thousands of products across all categories including kitchenware in store and online. Once the promotion ends, these products will move to a new cheaper Asda Price, providing customers with the lowest price across the traditional supermarkets.”
Gino price drops
The air fryers aren’t the only Gino-branded kitchenware Asda has slashed the price of in recent months.
In February, shoppers giggled as they saw yellow stickers plastering his cookware range.
TikTok user Em shared a video of Gino’s range in her local Asda, including packs of wine glasses and other items in the clearance section.
“Asda reducing Gino’s products after the allegations is such a slay from them,” Em wrote over the top of the video.
